    Popped in with a friend for a couple of taco snacks! The Del Taco is better than the photo! I do mine with sour cream and Scorcho sauce and scarf away!

    Came through the Del Taco drive-through yesterday for a between-meal snack. I went for a Fresh Fave Box Meal, one of those variety packs with fries and a drink (unsweetened iced tea for me). I picked a box featuring two chicken soft tacos and a chicken quesadilla.

    I ordered the tacos without sauce, and the kitchen crew nailed it. Del Taco's chicken soft tacos are remarkably good, and the chicken quesadilla also beats out Taco Bell's comparable offering. I doused on some hot sauce and went to town.

    Can't say much for the fries, though. Crinkle cut is a bold choice, but mine were much too soft, as if they hadn't been fried sufficiently, or had been gathering humidity waiting to be served. I ate a few and tossed the rest.

    Still, it was a tasty snack, and the price point is quite competitive. Without the sauce on the chicken soft tacos, it's a touch less unhealthy, perhaps, than the average fast food item.

    Err. I use to love Del taco. After not having it for 8 solid & years I was excited to try it again.  I realized I use to love Del Taco at 3am after drinking at bars all night and not knowingness weather the food or the drinks are what did me in the next day. I'll just say that sober Del Taco isn't nearly as good as drunk Del Taco, so choose your experience wisely.

    It's fast food and cheap eats! I love Del Taco! Bean burritos are good. Soft Chicken Tacos are a bargain! Drive-through is always open. We got tacos on Christmas Eve. Cheesecake bites are really good.

    Odell Taco how I missed you! I'm from St Louis and we got rid of our last bill taco probably close to 10 years ago. The Del Taco you know what you're getting some good cheap greasy down-and-dirty fast food Tex-Mex. I came here a few days ago and had the cheddar quesadilla and two carne asada street tacos. Although the quesadilla cheese wasn't completely melted inside it was still very good and I like the street tacos. they were very meaty. The service at the window was also very nice as the attendant was very friendly.
